It welcomes nursery and primary school pupils between the ages of 3 and 13, and has built a strong record of academic achievement in the heart of Kono District.

The Concerned Women Pre/Primary School is a government-assisted and government-approved institution providing free quality education to children, with a particular focus on the less privileged in the community. Pupils from the age of 3 through 13 receive nursery and primary instruction in a structured, supported environment.
Nursery Through Primary
The school provides teaching and learning for pupils within the age brackets 3 to 13, covering nursery through primary levels in a single, accessible location.
100% Examination Passes
The school has been successfully producing candidates for the National Primary School Examination with hundred percent passes in the last three years.
Government Approved
The school is government assisted and approved, providing a credible, recognized educational pathway for children in Nimikoro Chiefdom.

Amidst its successes, the school faces numerous challenges that require immediate community and donor support.
Storm Damage on 25 March, 2026
The roof of the current structure was taken off by heavy storms and downpour of rains on the 25th March, 2026. This has severely disrupted teaching and learning conditions for the school’s pupils.
Outstanding Challenges
The school continues to face the need for:
- An additional classroom block
- School feeding support
- Teaching and learning materials
- Urgent completion of the structural rehabilitation
Rehabilitation Efforts Underway
With the help of well-wishers, the school administration, the CEO, and the Concerned Women Organization, efforts have been made to give a facelift to the school. However, the school continues to seek more urgent material and financial support for the completion of the rehabilitation work to enhance conducive teaching and learning.
